Royal Gathering" at the 2010 Ontario Miniature
Gathering, April 23, 24 & 25 at the
Ottawa Travelodge Hotel,
in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
We have chosen
royal purple and gold as our official colours.
Ottawa has been described as one of the most beautiful
capitals in the world. Just a few hours drive from Montreal
or Toronto and less than an hour from the New York border,
Ottawa enjoys the attributes of a major centre for the
visual and performing arts, as well as other big city
attractions. Yet, it still maintains
the accessibility, atmosphere and charm of a smaller
city.
Your weekend will begin Friday evening with a buffet
supper and an evening of fun. After breakfast on
Saturday and again on Sunday, we plan to offer
registered workshops,
including half day, full day
and new this year, day and a half length classes.
During lunches and dinner on Saturday, centerpieces
and exchange gifts will be drawn. And, Saturday night
will be the long awaited Artisans Market where you
will have the opportunity to purchase one of a kind
miniature items and enjoy the displays.
The weekend
ends with a scrumptious farewell lunch on Sunday and
draws for Gathering Helpers.
